Contact our technical team
Is it compatible with my current packaging line?
Yes. Visomo's is approved for all major lines in the sector — Sorma, Giro, Newtec, Volm and Daumar — without mechanical modifications. We ship a trial kit with three formats so you can validate mesh aperture, drawcord tension and clipping speed in less than a working day.
What is the cost compared to conventional plastic?
The extra cost per sales unit sits between 8% and 15%, depending on volume and format. Most customers offset it by passing on just 2–3 cents per unit or by accessing compostable-packaging incentives already in place at several retail channels.
What happens if the end consumer throws it in the plastic recycling bin?
The net is separated at the sorting plant without contaminating the plastic packaging stream. The product label clearly instructs disposal in the organic (brown) bin.
Do you provide technical datasheets and declarations of conformity?
Yes. Every reference ships with a technical datasheet (TDS), food-contact declaration of conformity (EC 1935/2004), overall migration report, EN 13432 and OK Compost HOME certificates, and batch traceability linked to the delivery note.
What lead times do you handle for industrial orders?
Catalogue orders: 7–10 working days within mainland Spain, 12–15 days across the rest of the EU. Custom formats or printed branding: first delivery in 4 weeks after artwork approval; reorders in 10 days.
Do you offer custom formats (colour, weight, branding)?
Yes. Drawcord dyed with plant-based inks in 12 standard colours (approximate Pantone matching on request), mesh weights from 4 to 12 g/m², and flags printed with your branding. Minimum custom order: 50,000 units.
How do I justify this to my retail customers?
We prepare a chain-specific commercial brief with the documentation each retailer requires (Lidl, Mercadona, Carrefour, Aldi, Eroski), including CO₂e footprint, third-party LCA and a plastic-elimination plan.
Do you have independent biodegradation testing?
Audited by TÜV Austria and Hydra Marine Sciences. Samples degraded to CO₂, water and biomass in an average of 11.3 weeks under industrial composting (50–60 °C), and 22 weeks in home composters (20–25 °C).
